What is Speed Mentoring? Entrepreneurs seeking business advice from business leaders on marketing, legal, accounting, scaling and more will have the opportunity to meet BizStarts Mentor Network and be connected with Mentor(s) based on your business challenges and opportunities--all in record time!
Each Speed Mentoring session lasts 8 minutes with a 2-minute 'changeover' time between each session. The goal is to fit 6 sessions in an hour.
Entrepreneurs bring your questions and business cards and make sure to practice your business pitch beforehand!

Startup Milwaukee takes you on a guided tour of Milwaukee's innovation hubs while introducing you to the founders from over a dozen emerging startups.
Hop aboard the Milwaukee Startup Bus presented by Husch Blackwell to learn about Milwaukee's growing startup ecosystem from key leaders, meet new people, enjoy Good City Brewing beer, Bright Cellars wine all for just $10 per person.
Whether you’re an entrepreneur, investor, startup enthusiast or anywhere in between, the Milwaukee Startup Bus is a great way to explore local startup community.
We will start the tour at the Global Water Center in Walker's Point with stops at UWM's NEW Lubar Entrepreneurship Center and Bright Cellars HQ at Ward 4.

UWM Business Model Canvas Mixer
Join the UWM Lubar Entrepreneurship Center for the Fourth Annual Business Model Canvas (BMC) Mixer. All Milwaukee students are invitied to showcase their ideas at this Milwaukee Startup Week event.
We are asking you (the community) to join us as we brainstorm aspects of the student’s businesses as well as innovative models. Students will be displaying and building their canvases that morning.
Parking: Metered parking is available in the EMS (Engineering Mathematics Science) lot. Street parking with meters is also available on Kenwood Blvd. and Cramer St.
