“I Think I’m Ready to Leave!….I’m Not Ready to Retire!”
Beginning a New Career at 50 years and after
50+ New Start ™ refers to individuals who make a choice to step away from their current career and yet are not ready to stop working. Many of these individuals choose to continue working in a career and often choose to build their own business as the next career.
They have a vision of this next career that will open the door to their continuing to use their lifetime of accumulated knowledge, skills, and experience.
Many of these individuals choose to now work under their own direction and for their own reasons and purposes.
This session will address such questions as:
- What are the reasons people step away and go into business for themselves or choose, when they have reached retirement age, to continue to work
- What are the typical directions that they choose?
- What is the best way to approach such a decision?
- What are the essential steps to take to improve the likelihood of success as they move forward in their thinking and their actions?
After a presentation on the topic, there will be an interactive discussion and Q&A among the participants.
